OPEN REALITY Project
The Open Ukraine Foundation launches OPEN REALITY – a project on information security and critical thinking.
The world is no longer divided into truth and fake news.
It is divided into those who know how to verify information and those who are easily manipulated.
The Open Ukraine Foundation and the Kyiv Security Forum are launching a special project called OPEN REALITY – a space where we will learn together to distinguish reality from its cunning fakes.
Artificial intelligence, deepfakes, information attacks, and manipulation of fear and emotions – these are no longer topics of the future. They form the backdrop of our daily lives. The only response to this is critical thinking and information hygiene.
Within OPEN REALITY, you will find:
- interviews with experts in cybersecurity, information hygiene, and countering disinformation;
- public lectures on information security;
- regular debunking of fakes and explanation of how we are being misled;
- educational formats accessible to everyone and much more.
Fact-based, example-based, and equipped with practical tools.
This is not about “not trusting anyone.” It’s about trusting, but verifying. And keeping a cool head in heated times.
