Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation invites everyone to the next meeting at FACES Art Club on 15 November at 19:00 at Chasopys Creative Space. This time the Club will host TV host Natalia Sopit and film director Vasyl Viter, who will tell the story how “Game of Fate” project was created: about its characters, how film shooting was done, how the screenplays were prepared, and about the creative project team.
From 6 to 20 October 2013, supported by the Open Ukraine Foundation, Maryna Hrymych, Ukrainian writer and translator, laureate of the “Coronation of the Word” (2002) Maryna Hrymych from 6 to 20 October 2013 attended workshops on contemporary Ukrainian literature as part of the activities at Literarisches Colloquium Berlin, and attended Frankfurt Book Fair.
On October 29th the Concert Performance of Ihor Zhuk and Irene Rozdobudko has taken place as part of FACES Art Club at the initiative of Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation. The star duet’s programme «Romance with flies» was presented to the audience: Ihor performed his own songs accompanied by a guitar, while Irene read some fragments of her works.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation invites everyone for the next regular meeting of FACES Art Club that will take place on October 29th at 19:00 at Chasopys Creative Space. This time, famous journalist and writer Irene Rozdobudko and well-known singer and songwriter Ihor Zhuk will be guests and present their joint Concert Performance “Romance with flies”.
Famous Ukrainian writer Oksana Zabuzhko and her novel’s translator Katarzyna Kotynska became laureates of the 8th literary award Angelus-2013. The prize for Zabuzhko in this literature awards was ensured by “The Museum of Abandoned Secrets” that was translated into Polish with the support of Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation.
Iryna Berezhko, an artists, curator and promoter of the Myths and Legends of the Eastern Europe exhibition, visited the opening of her curatorial project in Amsterdam with the support of the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation. A Ukrainian artist, she made it her aim to familiarise Westerners with the myths and legends of the new Ukraine, which are being formed by contemporary Ukrainian artists.
Oksana Zabuzhko's The Museum of Abandoned Secrets that was translated into Polish with the support of Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation has entered to the final of the eighth Angelus Central European Literature Award. 41 books participated in the contest. The winner will be determined by 19 October 2013.
With the support of Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation Tchaikovsky NMAU student Dadykina Darya in August 2013 participated in master courses of Austrian pianist and Professor Lang and Italian Professor Fabio Bidini.
