Head of Supervisory Council of the Open Ukraine Foundation Tereziya Yatsenyuk visited people displaced from ATO area who temporarily staying in Teteriv sanatorium of Zhytomyr region, the city of Korostyshiv. Mrs. Yatsenyuk spoke with temporarily displaced people and staff of sanatorium, which is home now for totally 400 people, including 140 children.
Head of Supervisory Council of the Foundation brought to the sanatorium humanitarian aid’s warm clothes, and together with vocal ensemble ConCord prepared a musical evening featuring songs of different nations, popular music hits, jazz compositions and original works a cappella.
In her conversation with displaced people, Tereziya Yatsenyuk emphasized that it's absolutely unimportant who lives in what part of the country. «If there is a need, we help each other because we all are united, live and love our country and will do everything we can for each other», - Mrs.Yatsenyuk said.
It should be reminded that the Open Ukraine Foundation supports and is guardian to temporarily displaced persons, which are staying in Teteriv sanatorium of Zhytomyr region since last May. And during this time the humanitarian aid was organized in a form of dairy products that are delivered weekly to the sanatorium. Also, once the heating season started the Foundation helped to install heating boilers that will provide heat to displaced persons.
