The lecture of Olena Medvedieva on «In expectation of promise»

The Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation within the framework of the program «Open Yourself» invites you to attend the lecture of child and family psychologist of psychoanalytic direction (International Institute of Depth Psychology, Universite Nice-Sophia Antipolis), member of Ukrainian Association of Psychoanalysis, psychotherapist, candidate of philosophical sciences Olena Medvedieva on «In expectation of promise».

«As the clinical practice shows, today almost all parents are in anxiety: how to make their child escape dependencies. Accordingly, the fear of drugs, alcohol, game, anorexia become widespread. Moreover, this is understandable, because of the society, the media terrifies us facts. However, for some reason, some adolescents or adults become addicted, while others do not? What is the problem?» - Olena Medvedieva wonders and invites to search answers to these questions together.

Lecturer proposes to look at this issue from the perspective of life in the relationship with the mother and father, with the following the important tenets as expectation, desire, need, and others, while taking into account the impact of mental fragility of society and modern man. Unlike medical and psychological approach, the author proposes to look at the problem from an analytical point of view.

The lecture will be held on, 18 October 2016 at 19:00, in hotel «Vozdvyzhenskiy», 60A.
