Tereziia YATSENIUK take Part in the 21st International Book Publishers Forum in Lviv

On Friday, September 12, Tereziia YATSENIUK, the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of the Open Ukraine Foundation, will attend the 21st International Book Publishers Forum in Lviv.

During her visit, Ms Yatseniuk will visit the Forum exhibition in the Palace of Arts, attend the presentation of Maryia Chumarna’s book “Praying for You… Touches to the Prophet’s Portrait” dedicated to the life and the creative path of Taras Shevchenko, and take a look at the latest offers of the Day Newspaper Library.

A press point with Ms Tereziia YATSENIUK will be organized for the media.

Beginning at 12:30.

Venue:  Palace of Arts, hall, 1st floor, near booths 6 (Vydavnytstvo Staroho leva publishing house) and 9 (A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA publishing house).

The Open Ukraine Foundation, chaired by Tereziia Yatseniuk, runs a special program for support of modern Ukrainian literature, which involves awarding grants for translation of the works of Ukrainian writers. Since the establishment of the program, over 20 translations of works by Ukrainian writers, in particular Yurii Andrukhovych, Oksana Zabuzhko, Mariia Matios, and Serhii Zhadan. Open Ukraine Foundation also supports the International Book Publishers Forum in Lviv for the second year in a row, the Ukrainian booth at the Paris Book Fair, and other activities in the area of literature.
