Publishers Forum in Lviv Supported by Open Ukraine Foundation for a Second Year in a Row

On September 10–14, 2014, the 21st International Book Publishers Forum in Lviv, the year’s most important and awaited event in the area of publishing, literature, and culture, supported by Arsenii Yatseniuk’s Open Ukraine Foundation, will be held.

The honorary guests of this year’s Forum are the Danube region countries. The focus topic is years 1914–1989, and the special topic is UkrainEUkraine (culture and democracy).

As usually, the Forum will include the largest book fair in Ukraine, where the visitors can buy the latest books and attend book presentations and autograph sessions.  

The guests will also be able to attend various events, including the Short Story Festival, Non-Stop Poetry and Music Night, 10. Young Republic of Poets, CONTEXT-3: Literature PR School, and meetings with the guests from the Danube region countries. 

This year, the Festival will bring togethr hundreds of writers, poets, artists, translators, and scholars from Ukraine and representatives of over 25 countries, in particular Austria, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Switzerland, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Russia, Sweden, Norway, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand , Georgia, Belarus, and others. 

All this means a whole lot of books, interesting meetings, positive emotions and experiences for you!
