The Arseniy Yatsenyuk "Open Ukraine" Foundation, with the support of the Canadian Embassy in Ukraine, is launching a series of Regional Youth Security Forums. As part of the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) program, a series of intellectual discussions will be held with the youth on topics of security.
We invite representatives of the Western regions of Ukraine to join the selection process for participation in the first meeting, which will be held on December 5, 2019 in Lviv. The selected applicants will participate in the discussion on the theme: "International coalition to support Ukraine: how to protect and strengthen solidarity".
Ukrainian and international politicians and experts will be presenting reports in Lviv.
We invite for participation leaders age 18-28 who:
- have achieved considerable success in education, politics, the public sector, public activity, or in the sphere of international relations;
- have an active civic position;
- are well-versed in issues of state formation, international relations, international security;
- fluent in English;
- open to finding new meanings, solutions.
Participation in the Forum is free of charge, on a competitive basis.

Organizers specifically encourage representatives from different regions of Western Ukraine to participate. Participants who have passed the competitive selection process will have their travel expenses covered by the organizers.

The Young Leaders Security Forum is a unique discussion platform for young people from all regions of Ukraine. The Regional Forums program includes discussions on topical issues of international relations and foreign policy of Ukraine.

The Canadian Embassy in Ukraine, under the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) program, supports small, but highly effective projects that meet the Government of Canada's international assistance priorities. The program is aimed at supporting initiatives developed mainly by local partners.
