Results of the 7th Youth Kyiv Security Forum were summed up in Kyiv

The 7th Youth Kyiv Security Forum organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation concluded its two-day operation.

Nearly 100 young leader from all regions of Ukraine as well as Georgia, Germany and Poland, discussed issues and challenges that stand before the international organizations (EU, NATO, OSCE, UN, CE). The theme of this year’s forum was "International organizations at the crossroad of classicism and modernism. An alternative view."

The program for the forum included presentations from the Prime Minister of Ukraine (2014-2016) and founder of the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Ihor Zhdanov, Deputy Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine Viktorija Cieminytė, UNHCR Representative in Ukraine Pablo Mateu, and writer and TV host Vitaly Portnikov.

Over the course of two days, the 21-22 of February, participants worked in separate groups to develop alternative views to the operation of the classic international organization. At the end of the second day of the Forum the groups presented their projects and were recognized with a certificate of participation in the 7th Youth Kyiv Security Forum

Organizer of the Forum is the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation is an international foundation, established in July 2007 for strengthening and development of Ukraine’s reputation in the world. The main tasks of the Foundation are improving international reputation of Ukraine and increasing its promotion abroad, promoting international cooperation with Ukraine and public diplomacy.
