Deputy of Bilateral Cooperation and Peacekeeping Operations of Ukraine, Hennadiy Kovalenko, believes that deploying NATO subdivisions to the Baltics, Poland, and Romania isn’t enough to stop Russia. He spoke about this at the 7th Youth Kyiv Security Forum, organized by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation.
"NATO deployed subdivisions to the Baltics, Poland, and Romania. This is right, this is useful, but to be frank, this won’t be enough. Why? Because Russia will only stop when it is forced to stop, not earlier", – emphasized Kovalenko.
He added that while Ukraine isn’t yet a member of NATO, one of its top priorities when it comes to security is cooperation with regional and subregional organizations such as the "Visegrád Four".
