UN Representatives met with Discussion Club "Open World" participants

On November 21 Discussion Club "Open World" held meeting with UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Ms. Osnat Lubrani and UNHCR Representative in Ukraine Mr. Pablo Mateu. Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation organized the event.

The issues of humanitarian, education, migration and health fields in Ukraine were discussed.

Ms Lubrani assured, that the implementation of projects for peace building, as well as humanitarian aid for people who live in the temporary occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and close to the separation line are in priority for UN in Ukraine. 

Mr. Mateu highlighted the necessity to improve migration procedures for internally-displaced persons. The development of investment climate, small and medium businesses are among priorities as well.

Discussion Club "Open World" is an educational project of the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation for socially active young people. Its goal is to raise a new generation of responsible leaders. Every month the Foundation holds lectures with renowned experts, politicians and public figures, during which they discuss ways of effective solutions to social problems in Ukraine and in the world.
