«Ukrainian way to European family» - meeting with a Member of the European Parliament Rebecca Harms

The Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation within the Discussion Club «Open World» invites to the meeting with German politician, Member of the European Parliament Rebecca Harms.

Theme of the meeting - «Ukrainian way to European family».

During the Discussion Club MEP will tell about her activity as a Member of the European Parliament, issues concerning the support of Ukraine in the European community, Euromaidan role for Ukrainian society development, express her own position on the detaining of Nadiya Savchenko in Russia. The meeting will take place in the format of «real-life communication» - Rebecca Harms ready to answer your questions.

The meeting will take place on 13th October, at 19:00, in hotel «Radisson Blu Kyiv» (Yaroslaviv Val str., 22).

Rebecca Harms is German politician, co-president of the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament. She is a Member of the European Parliament since 2004.

Energy policy has always been the most important theme to her. Her line for the usage of renewable energy, effective energy usage and against atomic energy renaissance Rebecca Harms continues to stand from 2014 in European Parliament, the committee of Industry, Research and Energy. Since recently she is a member of the committee of Foreign Affairs and of the Delegation to the EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.

Discussion Club «Open World» is an educational project of the Arseniy Yatseniuk «Open Ukraine» Foundation for socially active young people. Its goal is to raise a new generation of responsible leaders. Every month the Foundation holds lectures with renowned experts, politicians and public figures, during which they discuss ways of effective solutions to social problems in Ukraine and in the world.
