The Open Ukraine Foundation is an international charitable foundation established in July 2007 on the initiative of Arseniy Yatsenyuk. For almost 20 years, we have been working towards an important goal – strengthening Ukraine’s global position.
Our mission is to bring Ukraine closer to victory and to its future as a successful, secure and influential European state.
Our unique role is to be Ukraine’s voice on the world stage on security issues.
We operate in four key areas:
- Security and public diplomacy. The Kyiv Security Forum – established by the Foundation in 2007 – is Ukraine’s main international platform on issues of war and peace, drawing the world’s attention to our country and bringing together government leaders, military command and diplomats from all over the world.
- Support for the Defence Forces. From the very first days of the full-scale invasion, the Foundation has been systematically supporting the military front with drones, vehicles and equipment. By early 2026, the total value of aid provided had reached 71 million UAH.
- The next generation of leaders. We support young leaders who are transforming Ukraine, as they are the ones who will shape its future.
- Information security and critical thinking. We debunk fake news, counter disinformation, and teach people to distinguish reality from manipulation.
