The Arseniy Yatsenyuk ‘Open Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation has, at the request of the 58th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky, supplied a batch of parts manufactured using 3D printing. These will be used by the brigade’s strike unmanned aerial vehicle squadron for fibre-optic drones.

The foundation organised the 3D printing of parts required by the military two years ago. Since then, it has been expanding the range of products and the number of printers used to manufacture them. The parts are produced in response to requests from various units of the Defence Forces: each batch is prepared in accordance with the recipients’ requirements. In total, the foundation has already supplied the military with tens of thousands of 3D-printed parts. The printers operate 24/7, stopping only for maintenance.

“We began printing parts for the military in 2024 and have been working to meet their requests ever since. As technology changes, so do the components required, so we are adding new products and increasing our printing volumes. It is important to us that each unit receives exactly the parts it needs right now. This batch for the 58th Brigade is a continuation of our work, through which we have already supplied the Defence Forces with tens of thousands of parts,” said Ramina Shut, Executive Director of the “Open Ukraine” Foundation.
