The bust of the world-renowned opera singer Solomiya Krushelnytska decorated the gallery of famous artists at the Grand Theatre – National Opera of Poland. In November at the Polish National Opera the official presentation of the first bust of the famous Ukrainian in Poland took place, produced by the Open Ukraine Foundation.

The bust was produced by the people’s artist of Ukraine Vasyl Yarych and the honored artist Orest Skop. The bust was made of bronze; the stand and the column were made of granite. The total height of the composition is over two meters. The artistic image that inspired the creators was the image of Krushelnytska while performing the role of the Countess in the opera of the same name by Polish composer Stanislaw Moniuszko.

On the occasion of 154th Anniversary of Ivan Gorbachevskyi, Open Ukraine Foundation supported the creation and unveiling of a memorial plaque to the first Minister of Health Care in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. On May 15, 2008, the official ceremony of plaque unveiling was held in Vienna, at the house where the scientist resided (1010 Vienna, Wipplingerstraße/Mark Aurel Street).
